Akureyri

Iceland's second city, at the head of the long Eyjafjörður, with a botanical garden that grows things nothing this far north should, a good café and restaurant scene, and heart-shaped red traffic lights. Goðafoss, the 'waterfall of the gods', is close to the route in.
